Digital Marketing is one of the terms that have become quickly popular in the past few years in the market. There are many people who still confuse it with the offline ways of how marketing was done earlier.

Very recently a friend of mine who works in a Radio entertainment company told me that she had held a campaign which she had to ask the audience, questions regarding the movie industry like names of directors, musicians and directors were the price money was huge. Since the majority of the public knows only about the actors, it was slightly tough. She announced the questions in the morning and gave time till evening and first 10 who called with right answers won the rewards. The sponsors also promoted their companies through the campaign.

A few months back I heard from a BPO manager who works in a real estate company about a Facebook campaign his company organised that resulted in a spike in the sale of properties to an extra 70%.
